Design is an

experience

that we encounter everyday.

design - a specification of an object, manifested by an agent, intended to accomplish goals, in a particular environment, using a set of primitive components, satisfying a set of requirements, subject to constraints.
experience - a general concept comprises knowledge of or skill in or observation of some thing or some event gained through involvement in or exposure to that thing or event.

These experiences are

solutions

to problems

solution - a specific answer to or way of answering a problem.
problem - an obstacle, impediment, difficulty or challenge, or any situation that invites resolution; the resolution of which is recognized as a solution or contribution toward a known purpose or goal.

created to help us live more

fulfilling

lives.

create - to cause to come into being, as something unique that would not naturally evolve or that is not made by ordinary processes.
fulfilling - making someone satisfied or happy because of fully developing their character or abilities
